UAF custom air filters are designed to be cleanable, are manufactured in Sauget, Illinois, and can meet UL94, MIL-SPEC and other ratings as needed. Our most popular filter solution for UAVs includes both our proprietary Quadrafoam™ media and a layer of hydrophobic mesh. The combination can be as thin as .125” / ~3mm, is very low weight, and has an initial resistance of .07 in.w.g. This material is also able to achieve a UL900 or UL94 HF-1 flame safety rating.
