UAF Leads Electronics Industry with Quadrafoam™ Air Filter Media
Innovative Quadrafoam™ media upgraded to keep pace with tech industry advances
Universal Air Filter offers Quadrafoam media to meet critical regulatory and custom filtration performance requirements of the electronics industry. Quadrafoam is open cell polyurethane foam specially processed to provide improved flame safety, fungus resistance, UV protection, and hydrolytic stability features.
Advanced capabilities mean Quadrafoam delivers results for applications in industries like electronics, data center, telecom, military, medical, HVAC, industrial, and power generation where permanent cleanable filters are most appropriate. Quadrafoam II air filters are specifically designed for harsh environments and formulated to better withstand prolonged exposure to high temperature and high humidity. Quadrafoam solutions are an effective filter for mist elimination, and assist enclosures in meeting various MIL-STD, NEMA and IP ratings.
Quadrafoam and Quadrafoam II filters are configured in made-to-size aluminum-framed, permanent type cleanable filters for fresh air intake and exhaust or by themselves in cut-to-size pads. Roll-formed channels are popular for basic rectangular shapes with custom fabricated frames used to fit intricate designs that become a key component within a customer’s electronics enclosure. Filter frames can be configured with specialty metal finishes for metal protection or color-matched to satisfy industrial design needs.
Universal Air Filter recently announced High Efficiency Quadrafoam media rated UL 94, making UAF the only commercial air filter producer in the high porosity media class to meet the highest UL flame safety standards
Upgraded Quadrafoam with higher porosity is designed to improve mist elimination, salt fog and water ingress in outdoor and other harsh environment applications. High Efficiency Quadrafoam is ideal for high dust capturing electronics applications compared to standard high efficiency filters which are typically too bulky for shrinking enclosures and do not meet flame safety standards.
