Design engineers can now specify the innovative Flextab on all Universal Air Filter
products. It’s a small detail, but those who service equipment in the field will appreciate the ease of use and convenience. These tabs are especially helpful when removing or positioning filters in hard to reach spaces.
The unique, new Flextab adhesive pulltab incorporates ingenious features. The Flextab is flexible – literally and figuratively. Handles and tabs can be part of a one-piece frame design, but it doesn’t always allow for the necessary clearances. The Flextab can easily fold out of the way, while remaining accessible behind a door, cover or bezel. In addition, Universal’s new Flextab adhesive pulltabs are configurable for various lengths and can mount to multiple surfaces and edges.
Made of a lightweight, high-strength, flame-retardant, self-adhesive polymer, the Flextab is non-conductive, won’t snag on anything, or rattle like metal tabs. As always, Universal Air Filter has kept industry standards in mind. The Flextab is flame resistant and UL 94 V0 rated, so it can be installed in any industry equipment application.
