Media
Uni-Foam and Quadrafoam media are used for permanent type cleanable filter applications, and polyester media is used when a disposable filter is most appropriate. After the media and the Uni-Grid support are bonded into one unit, they are mechanically formed into gently rolling pleats, with no areas of tension and minimum distortion. This produces an even flow of air throughout the entire extended area of the filter. Results are lower air flow resistance and a much greater dust holding capacity. Uni-foam and Quadrafoam are available in various pores per inch (PPI) ranging from 10 through 60 PPI.

Frame
Roll formed into a strong sturdy one-piece channel, using .040" thick, 3000 series aluminum. Frame is tightly fitted to filter media and fastened with two aluminum rivets. The UL listing, model number and air flow direction are roll imprinted into the frame. Part number is metal stamped into frame for quick, accurate identification.
Uni-Grid Support
Expanded on our specially designed Uni-Grid equipment, using .040" thick, 3000 series aluminum. Uni-Grid expanded aluminum is approximately 85% open to lower resistance.
